Founded by Paula James-Martinez, a leading women’s health advocate, journalist, writer, and filmmaker, The MOTHER LOVERS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization raising awareness around maternal health in the United States. The United States has the only rising maternal mortality rate in the developed world, where women today are more than twice as likely to die in childbirth. It’s paramount that we rally together to raise awareness and funds for the safety and care of Mothers everywhere. The MOTHER LOVERS stand to bring awareness to the stories of millions of American families and to  demand that all birthing people are treated with respect during, before and after birth.
