Born out of a desire to create clothes that start conversations, Lizzie Grover Rad founded the women’s ready-to-wear brand, Grover Rad, in 2022. During its inaugural year, the brand was nominated to be an interim CFDA member. Following the launch of the brand’s Collection 001, Wandering Womb,  the Metropolitan Museum of Art acquired three pieces from the collection that were in collaboration with female comic artists Aline and Sophie Crumb.

As an LA-based interior design entrepreneur and art collector, Grover Rad’s reverence for art and history  shape her informative and provocative collections. Each collection covers a topic where the concepts are presented through the use of historical imagery and art. Grover Rad’s signature prints are historic, graphic and at times controversial in their messaging. The brand proves that art and fashion can coexist while sparking meaningful conversation.

From concept through creation, each piece is made with integrity in Los Angeles. Grover Rad partners with small, family-owned factories and businesses in its mission to keep LA’s long standing fashion trade in business. Fabrics are sourced responsibly with a focus on natural fibers that are compostable and free of harmful ingredients and toxins.
The brand’s ethos is slow fashion, creating classic pieces with meticulous craftsmanship in small batches that stand the test of time.

Grover Rad maintains the philosophy that clothing is a timeless form of communication.
